The foundation I established to teach my kids about giving back

My foundation is called Morning Star Foundation, Inc. I started years ago to support organizations in a formal way and to teach my children about the importance of making good decisions and helping people and the environment. Each year I invest a percentage of my income in the foundation so that it continues to grow.  Four of my five kids sit on the board. The toddler will join the board later.

It’s named after Morning Star, the sail boat my father raced in the Tahiti Race in 1961, in the Society Islands. She won setting a new world’s record of 18 days, 18 hours and 23 minutes. You can watch the video below.
